Chaz Ortiz

At six years old, Chaz Ortiz got his first skateboard. And it didn't take long for the skating world to notice his natural talent. Ortiz won his first amateur contest, the Free Flow Tour, at age 13, which started a string of top finishes at major amateur contests around the country. At age 14, Chaz made history by winning his first pro contest, the Salt Lake City stop on the Dew Tour, becoming the youngest person to take first place in Dew Tour history. Later that year, Chaz won the Dew Cup Championship and solidified his position as being one of skateboarding's rising stars. Known for his smooth style, effortless trick execution and unbelievable talent, Ortiz is on his way to becoming a skateboarding legend.
