Abby Wambach

Abby Wambach has been a force on the soccer field since childhood, where she once scored 27 goals in three games. Arguably the most dependable goal-scorer in women's soccer, Abby set collegiate records for goals, assists, points, game-winning goals and hat tricks. She later joined Mia Hamm on the Washington Freedom as the two led their team to the WUSA title in 2003. Wambach was named U.S. Soccer's Female Player of the Year in 2003 and scored the goal that won the U.S. Women's Team the gold at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.
